inseam

hosted service

an ordinary node,
kept alive by us

The same open-source inseam node you could run yourself, on a well-provisioned machine that never sleeps: the always-on backbone your network already wants, with a composition that indexes deeply and plugins we operate and support. Provisioned in under a minute. No free tier — the open-source core is the free tier.

one tenant, one machine

Your node runs on its own virtual machine. No shared kernel between your OAuth grants and anyone else's plugins.

the volume is yours

Your index lives on an encrypted block volume. The server around it is rebuilt from a clean image, never patched in place.

we cannot read it

No standing key into the machine. The owner token is minted on the node and handed to you once. Support access is a grant you issue and can revoke.

updates are pulled

Your node swaps its own binary from a signed manifest inside a maintenance window you choose. The control plane decides which signed version, and nothing else.

pricing

One plan, metered past the allowance

$39 a month per node, minimum, with 40 GB of index volume included. Above that the meter is gigabytes of index volume — a number your own node reports with inseam status — at $0.50 per GB-month.

How the meter works

Each day the control plane reads the store size your node reports, rounds up to whole gigabytes, and subtracts the 40 GB allowance. What is left at the end of the month is the overage on that month's invoice.

Volumes grow on their own as the index grows. Nothing is billed for volume capacity, only for what the index actually occupies.
